The Separation Agreement (non legal - sample form and blank included) provides an outline that allows you to focus on terms and goals of what will be worked on and over what period of time.

I so often hear "We tried a separation and it didn't work!" This often translates to "We tried a separation but we or one of us didn't work!" 
Most couples separate, but have little idea of what they are working on during the separation period. The Separation Agreement is the most critical piece of a successful separation.
